In Response to Rapid Growth, Schwartz Media Strategies Expands Team with Promotion of Allie Schwartz and Hire of Julia Wakefield

website news_8MIAMI, FL – February 11, 2010 – In a move reflective of Schwartz Media Strategies’ (www.schwartz-media.com) swift expansion over the last year and a half, the firm has expanded its upper-level team by promoting Allie Schwartz to Account Executive and bringing on Julia Wakefield as senior account executive.

As Account Executive, Ms. Schwartz conducts proactive media outreach and coordinates marketing efforts on behalf of clients in the firm’s commercial real estate, healthcare and financial services practices. She worked as an intern for Schwartz Media Strategies for nearly one year prior to her promotion. Previously, she served as office manager for A. Present Realty Group. Ms. Schwartz earned her bachelor’s degree at Florida International University, where she majored in communications with a dual focus on public relations and journalism.

In Ms. Wakefield’s role as Senior Account Executive, she helps develop strategic direction for the firm’s public relations outreach; conducts proactive outreach for the firm’s financial services, healthcare, and arts clients; develops and spearheads firm marketing initiatives; and directs all social media initiatives on behalf of the firm and its clients. Before joining Schwartz Media Strategies, Ms. Wakefield held the position of Communications Specialist at The Weinbach Group, a marketing communications firm in Miami, where she led publicity efforts for clients in the finance and real estate industries and directed the firm’s social media activity. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Davidson College, where she majored in philosophy. Involved in a number of community and industry organizations, Ms. Wakefield serves as president of the Association for Women in Communications South Florida chapter and is active in organizations including Social Media Club of South Florida, Social Media for Social Change Miami, Life Is Art, and the University of Miami Friends of Philosophy.
