Alisha Marks Promoted to Vice President of Schwartz Media Strategies

23333008_1MIAMI, FL – September 1, 2011 – Miami-based public relations and marketing firm Schwartz Media Strategies (www.schwartz-media.com) announces that Alisha Marks has been promoted to Vice President. In this capacity, Ms. Marks will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, spearheading its national and regional media relations activities, and providing strategic counsel to its professional services and municipal affairs clients.

Ms. Marks previously served as director of Schwartz Media Strategies, managing comprehensive public relations campaigns for clients including the Miami Downtown Development Authority, CREW-Miami (Commercial Real Estate Women), Leesfield & Partners, Podhurst Orseck, Bilzin Sumberg Baena & Price, and Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, P.L.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Marks was a senior account executive for a Florida-based public relations agency.

Before moving to Miami in 2005, Ms. Marks was an account manager at Fletcher Martin Public Relations in Atlanta, where she handled media relations and marketing programs for the firm’s business-to-business clients.  Additionally, she served as the Southeast area manager for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) – the nation’s second largest lobby organization – where she oversaw its grassroots mobilization, political communications, and community outreach efforts throughout the southern states.

Alisha earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, where she studied political science and communications.
