Recent studies from CREW Network and The Florida Bar show that women are still facing gender bias and a wide wage gap. CREW Network’s Benchmark Study indicates that while career satisfaction and optimism among women in commercial real estate are improving, a 23.3% median wage gap between men and women remains. The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division found that 43% percent of young female lawyers still faced gender bias and harassment in the workplace.
While these results are sobering, they also expose opportunities for narrowing the gender gap in traditionally male-dominated industries such as commercial real estate and law. Join us as we sponsor CREW-Miami’s August luncheon and panel program that will bring together male and female business leaders in both law and commercial real estate to address these challenges and identify solutions together.
