Finally, a stylish, mid-priced option for business and leisure travelers in downtown Miami!
With new businesses opening and and companies relocating and expanding in downtown Miami, we’re seeing new hotels debut to serve overnight leisure and business visitors. While the city’s urban core only attracted 9% of overnight stays in 2004, this figure doubled to 18% just five years later, according to the Miami Downtown Development Authority.
In response to growing demand, a flurry of new hotel openings have established downtown Miami as an urban alternative to South Beach. Downtown is now home to more 4-star hotels per capita than anywhere else in Florida. The flip side of this growth is that while high-end properties makeup roughly 60% of the market, the mid-range market has been overlooked.
Now that’s changing, as the Brickell Financial District welcomes a brand-new 221-room Hampton Inn & Suites, now open. And it’s not your typical Hampton Inn…
In classic Miami fashion, the property will incorporate a number of stylish and unique elements, such as original works by Miami artists, a rooftop pool overlooking the city, street-level retail, and a full-service lobby bar. It’s also on track to become the first LEED certified hotel in the City of Miami – and only the third Hampton-branded property globally.
Welcome to the neighborhood, Hampton Inn & Suites. We’ll be seeing you for happy hour!
