The Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science is well underway at Museum Park, and all of us here at Soundbytes are amazed at everything that’s in store.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait until 2015 to get a glimpse of the new museum. The 12th Annual Galaxy Gala, taking place March 15th, will showcase some of the technology elements that are being incorporated into the Museum’s new digs.

The night will begin with an out-of-this-world sensory experience incorporating interactive screens that transport guests to a tropical paradise, complete with lush greenery and palm trees. As guests move into the ballroom, they will find themselves in the midst of a winter wonderland, including falling snowflakes – no small feat in this harsh Miami “winter.” Interactive screens and LED icicles will preview what’s on tap for Museum Park.

South Florida’s top business, civic and philanthropic leaders will gather on March 15th at the JW Marriott Marquis for the annual Galaxy Gala. The Museum’s Big Bang young professionals group will be holding an “after party” that promises to pack a punch as party-goers crash the Gala and turn the event into a full-on nightclub.

A limited number of tickets to both parties are still available. Ticket and sponsorship information is available here.
