At a time when it seems politicos are hard-pressed to conjure up new ideas, it’s refreshing to see Miami Beach comedian-turned Mayoral candidate-turned reality TV star-turned Mayoral candidate again Steve Berke hatch a fresh idea for an airborne tramway stretching from downtown Miami to South Beach.
Part mass transit system, part tourist attraction, the SkyLink would be environmentally-sound, financially self-sufficient, and a lot more relaxing than grinding it out on the MacArthur during rush hour.
Is it doable? Who knows. Would it be amazing? Hell yeah.
